Description
This lesson presents the basics of transmission and distribution systems for electric power. You will learn the different types of distribution transformers and how they are protected. Also depending on the application, transformers can be designed as furnace, neon-sign, rectifier, and test transformers. Each type will be discussed and its characteristics will be pointed out. You will also learn about auxiliary devices and the maintenance needed along with the most common operational troubles and their remedies.
