Description
This study unit presents several topics related to the automatic control of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems within buildings. You will begin your study with an introduction to building heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems. This introduction discusses the typical arrangements of components, basic system operation, and power requirements. You will then learn the fundamentals of automatic control systems. This section is broken down into easily understandable subsections on pneumatic, electric, and electronic controls. Finally, you will learn about elementary and complete control systems.
