Description
Transformers: No matter what your work might be in the electrical field, you will come across transformers of different types and sizes. Transformers are used when the rated a-c voltage of electrical equipment is different from the voltage available at the voltage source. This lesson introduces you to the practical fundamentals and some of the applications of transformers. Transformer Operation: This lesson will cover methods applied in determining transformer efficiency at various loads. It will also cover single phase and three phase connections and the characteristics of each as well as no load and load tap changers.
