Description
This course is unique in that each student has access to a complete end-suction pump to disassemble, troubleshoot, investigate and reassemble in the effort to learn how to: 1. Properly recognize the types and major components of centrifugal pumps. 2. Correctly and safely disassemble a centrifugal pump. 3. Analyze the condition of the pump's parts to determine and prevent in the future, the cause of failure for the pump. 4. Re-assemble the centrifugal pump and understand the proper fits and tolerances, etc. required for the pump to be placed into service successfully.
