Description
This course is unique in that each student has access to a complete progressing cavity pump to disassemble, troubleshoot, investigate and reassemble in the effort to learn how to:
1. Properly recognize the types and major components of progressing cavity pumps.
2. Correctly and safely disassemble a progressing cavity pump.
3. Analyze the condition of the pump's parts to determine and prevent in the future, the cause of failure for the pump
4. Re-assemble the progressing cavity pump and understand the proper fits and tolerances, etc. required for the pump to be placed into service successfully.
