Lathes, Part 1: You will become familiar with general terminology and you will learn about the lathe's operation. This unit is designed to give you background information, which equips you with a basic understanding of how to operate a lathe safely and efficiently. You will find this basic information very helpful and you will learn more with further study units.
Lathes, Part 2: This unit will provide you with a basic introduction to external lathe operations. You will gain an understanding of lathe operations, including facing, diameter turning, shoulder turning, forming, necking, and parting.
