Description
In this text you will learn that heat is a form of energy. The energy of heat can be changed to work energy. You will learn the different ways in which temperature is measured and the difference between Btu's and joules. You will learn heat calculations and be able to apply laws of gases.
In this text you will learn about the ideal-gas constant and the mixing of gases. You will learn the different types of expansion of gases and how changes in energy are influenced by pressure and volume. You will learn about the General Laws of Gases, open and closed cycles, isotherman and adiabatic compression, and heat engines.
