Description
Learn the basics of reading and understanding electrical ladder drawings. Various types of electrical ladder diagrams that maintenance personnel use, their applications, and the standards associated with them will be explained. Next, basic symbols used in electrical ladder diagrams are discussed. Included in this discussion are push buttons, selector switches, limit switches, relays, timing relays, motor starters, transformers and more. Learn how these symbols are used to make the common motor control circuits used in industry today. Actual electrical ladder diagrams of machinery are used to reinforce print standards and will be used in realistic troubleshooting examples led by the instructor.
