Description
A training course designed to teach the use of AEDs when responding to a patient who is experiencing sudden cardiac arriest, prior to the arrival of EMS. Sudden cardiac arrest is one of the leading causes of death in occupational settings and a defribrillator is the only definitive treatment for it. For use in conjunction with the MEDIC FIRST AID basec version 5 course, this is a 2 hour course and uses a format of instruction video segments, facilitator demonstration of skills, student hands-on skills practice and a student workbook.
