Description
System engineers commonly produce charts for chemical dosages for system operators and even though water and wastewater operators work with chemical applications everyday, they often do not know how to calculate the dosage of the chemicals they are adding. Understanding the proper chemical to use for each application and the proper way to dose the chemical assures better system operations. Knowledge of proper dosage calculations enables a system operator to troubleshoot their plant more effectively and spot problems in a timely manner. This course was developed to help operators with experience sharpen their math skills and refresh their knowledge of chemicals and their applications.
