Description
This seminar was developed after a growing need was found in the industry for training that applied to facilities such as wastewater and drinking water treatment plants. In one day you will learn the basics of electricity such as; what is current, voltage, resistance and power. A little Ohm's Law will be discussed along with magnetism. The course will move quickly into discussions on electrical test equipment. Students will learn about multimeters that can measure voltage, resistance and current as well as clamp-on ammeters and capacitor testers. Control components such as transducers, capacitors, float switches, relays, alternators, potential relays and phase monitors will aslo be discussed. The seminar will close with an in-depth look at reading the electrical control drawings used in the treatment industry.
