Description
This seminar will teach about electic power generation and distribution. Three phase power, single phase power and transformers will be discussed as they apply to treatment facilities. The discussion then moves to electric motors of all types and troubleshooting these motos. The course will also show how to determine if a motor is bad. Variable Frequency Drives and PLC's will also be covered. The day wraps up with a unique section called Troubleshooting Lift Stations. This section will show how to troubleshoot float switches, capacitors, phase monitors, alternators, pumps and potential relays.
