Schematics of biological phosphorus and total nitroged removal WWTPs will be reviewed for the primary purpose of describing process control options and monitoring practices. What your plant may or may not be able to achieve in enhanced BNR. Recommendations for enhancing BNR at existing WWTPs from process suppliers and engineers. Piloting for minor and major BNR modifications. General discussion regarding technologies that may be used to enhance BNR at existing WWTPs and why they may or may not work. How to form networks with engineers, equipment/process suppliers, and other operators. A final assessment project or an exam will be used to measure what the attendees were able to learn and how they may be able to apply that knowledge in future wastewater treatment applications.
