Description
Pumps and their related drives are probably one of the most important pieces of machinery a water and wastewater operators encounters. Other skills and knowledge of treatment become secondary if water cannot be delivered or wastewater removed. For these reasons, every operator should have a good basic understanding of their system's pumping equipment and how to properly maintain it. Operation and maintenance of pumps and motors is the function of the sustaining or restoring equipment so that it can perform its intended job safely, effectively, and economically.
