Description
This workshop is designed as an introduction to the analytical methods and techniques required for accurate laboratory measurement of pH, dissolved oxygen (DO), BOD, and COD. Online analysis of DO and solids will also be discussed. Techniques covered in this course include calibration (where applicable), sample measurement, and method verification. The course objectives will be met by presenting theory, incorporating practical applications of analytical techniques, and through hands-on experience with each testing parameter. Students are required to analyze water samples of known and unknown values.
