Description
This workshop is designed as an introduction to the analytical techniques and systems available for water quality measurements in applications including drinking water, wastewater, environmental water, and industrial water. Analytical techniques covered in the course include colorimetry, electrochemistry, and turbidity. The course objectives will be met by presenting theory, incorporating practical applications of analytical techniques, and through "hands-on"experience with each testing parameter using portable field use and laboratory instruments. Students are required to analyze samples of known and unknown values.
