This seven-video series of 30- to 60- minute videos and the accompanying LEARNING BOOKLET were developed for operators of water systems. Each video covers a different topic and, like our other training materials, eadch topic author is a working operator, engineer, or manager who is an expert in the field. The videos all feature real operators performing duties at their facilities.
This course presents information on the basic operation and maintenance of water supply and distribution systems. Topics covered include wellhead protection, hypochlorination, water storage tanks, sampling and testing, inspecting a pump station, distribution systems, and approaches to compliance with standards.
