Description
Often the operator has questions about bloodborne infections. These can be in the wastewater stream but often are a result of an accident with a co-worker. While an understanding of the infections is important, understanding how to minimize the risk of exposure and the need for proper immunization can be even more important. This course will provide an overview of these needs.
Confined spaces are everywhere in the treatment plant facility as well as the collection and distribution systems. The student will learn to recognize the dangers associated with confined spaces and how to minimize those dangers. This will include proper entry and monitoring proceedures to insure a safe work environment.
