Description
The American Water Works Association, the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Water Environmental Federation collaborated to provide security guidance for water utilities. The purpose of this course is to provide water systems with a guide to redesign or retrofit existing facilities or design new facilities to create better physical security and reduce risk to the public water supply. To protect the public water supply, this guidance emphasizes the management and operations of the facilities and the facility design considerations that can make the installation and upgrade of physical security systems easier to implement.
