Description
This is a one hour course broken into two sections: Introduction, Calibration, and Direct-Reading Instruments; second section is on Air, Noise, Electrical, and Heat Meters and Instruments. This course discusses the types, calibration, maintenance, and operation of equipment commonly used by OSHA Compliance Field Inspectors. In the Appendix section, a Table for Calibration Intervals discusses the intervals for test equipment, pumps, and meters; a very helpful guide for field operations. This course is not a comprehensive review of all available equipment, nor a review of technical equipment; but merely indicates the past OSHA procurement policies.
