Description
This course uses the DEP Module 28 Basic Math material. This is designed to provide an overview of basic mathematical knowledge required to operate a water and/or wastewater treatment plant.

* Unit 1 - Overview of math concepts & the metric system
* Basic formulas and methods - area, volume, and unit cancellation
* Advance formulas - loading calculations, chemical feed, geometric mean formula and various process control, reporting and administrative calculations.
Target Audience
Operators of both water and wastewater plants. Pre-certification operators.
