Description
This workshop is designed as an introduction to the analytical techniques and systems available for water quality measurements in applications including drinking water, wastewater, environmental water and industrial water. Course material includes techniques for sampling, and colorimetric and turbidity measurement. The course objectives will be met by presenting technical background, incorporating practical applications of sampling and analytical testing, and through "hands-on" experience with each testing parameter using portable field and laboratory instruments. Students are required to analyze water samples of known and unknown values.
