Description
Over the next few years, many WWTP's in Pa. will have to deal with some level of nutrient removal in their NPDES permits. These limits may be driven by local standards, TMDL's, or the Chesapeake Bay strategy which effects discharges in the Susquehanna watershed. As a result, WWTP's will have to upgrade their facilties to incorporate the required level of nutrient removal. The purpose of this training course is to provide an overview of important process control considerations that will have to be addressed by the operators of the affected facilities.
