Description
Hydrants play a vital role in communities by providing fire fighting protection. Water systems also use hydrants to flush water lines and check water pressure. The water system is usually responsible for servicing and repairing hydrants. Therefore, it is essential to educate water company employees on proper operation, maintenance and repairs of hydrants, which is the main focus of this course. In addition, the course will cover flow testing, flushing a distribution system and hydrant security.
