Description
The purpose of the course is to enlighten State Park Wastewater treatment operators on activated sludge process control and problem solving. The class will review solids, aerobic versus anaerobic conditions, and transient plant conditions that affect sludge. The class will review safety issues including equipment, procedures, and confined space requirements. DEP Water quality specialist Joe Roth will provide additional information on health and safety issues.
