Description
Pumps and their related drives are probably one of the most pieces of machinery a water and wastewater operator encounters. Other skills and knowledge of treatment becomes secondary if water cannot be delivered or wastewater moved. For these reasons, every operator should have a good basic understanding of their systems pumping equipment and how to properly maintain it. Operation and maintenance of pumps is the function of sustainging or restoring equipment so that is can perform its intended job safely, effectively, and economically. The purpose of this course is to train operators the importance of doing just that.
