The course is designed for water treatment plant operators, waste water plant operators, plumbers, and maintenance personnel. The purpose is to give participants, who are already certified backflow prevention assembly testers, detailed instuction on diagnosing problems with backflow prevention devices using a differential pressure gage and then disassembling and making necessary repairs. This course is designed to bring together everything that may have been learned in other classes. This course has been approved by ASSE (The American Society of Sanitary Engineers) and therefore meets ANSI Standard Series 5000.
