Description
A one-day awareness level course designed to present/explain steps required to protect the quality of potable water from cross connections during distribution to include requirements of the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA). Course defines what a cross connection is, how they work, what they look like, and how to prevent/control them using appropriate device for the hazard level. Case history, slides, overheads, videos, and class discussions reinforce instruction. Students receive course manual with overheads in note format to facilitate note taking.
