Description
The digging of trenches is one of the most dangerous activities in the construction industry. Unsafe excavations claim many workers’ lives each year when practicing proper safety could prevent all of these deaths. The depth of the trench, the conditions and activities around the job site all contribute to the hazards found on trenching jobs. It is vital that all workers understand these dangers and take corrective action to eliminate them. This class is designed to familiarize anyone who performs trenching operations with the proper methods necessary to keep their job safe and in compliance with OSHA regulations.
