Description
This course provides a review of chlorine dioxide for water and wastewater treatment plant operators. The course describes chlorine dioxide as a strong oxidant/disinfectant, chemical characteristics, generation of Chlorine dioxide, associated problems, how it is made, and how it is used.
The course includes a review of the chemical systems used generate chlorine dioxide. A discussion is included regarding the purity of chlorine dioxide.
