Description
This course teaches the basics of how to train an employee to be a safety trainer. The session concentrates on safety & OSHA standards and techniques of instruction. Used as training examples will be HAZCOM. employer responsibilities, employee rights, chemical terminology, chemical categories, labeling, interpretation of material safety data sheets, protective measures, basic first aid measures and chemical spill precautions will be covered. Personal protective equipment examines workplace hazards and specific protective gear for employees, including head/eye/face/hand/foot protection and employer responsibilities.
