This class is to introduce laboratory personnel to human intestinal parasites.

Course Content
This class will include the study of the helminths, nematodes, trematodes and cestodes. There will be tips to the identification of their ova, their life cycle and their effects on man. This class will introduce you into how to process specimens, use a microscope, and calibration of a micrometer. This class will cover all the basics for the identification of the 3 group’s helminths.
