Description
This course (along with Chemistry I) is designed to introduce the student to chemical phenomena and principles. This course will give the students practice in critical thinking, reading, and writing as well as an opportunity to further develop collaborative skills in problem-solving and experimental design. The importance of chemistry in the "real world" and our everyday lives will be emphasized. To make the course a complete learning experience, laboratory experiments will be used to supplement the lecture because chemistry is an experimental science.
