The primary purpose of Module 1: Introduction to Wastewater Treatment is to provide participants with an introduction to basic concepts of wastewater collection and conveyance systems, the wastewater treatment process, the role of the treatment plant operator and the regulations that govern wastewater treatment plant operations.
