This CEU course will review various Wastewater Collection methods and related Capacity, Management, Operation and Maintenance subjects. This course is general in nature and not state specific but will contain different wastewater collection methods, rules, policies, electricity, pump, safety, operator certification and lift station information. You will not need any other materials for this course.

* A working knowledge of CMOM, SSO and other collection regulations
* A detailed knowledge of collection system maintenance and repair techniques
* The ability to identify common collection system problems
* Correct collection system smoking and dye procedures
* Knowledge of collection system electrical & mechanical principles
* Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot collection system units
Target Audience
This CEU course is designed for the continuing education knowledge and enhancement of wastewater collection system operators, pretreatment/industrial wastewater operators and wastewater treatment operators. The target audience for this couse is the person interested in working in a wastewater treatment or collection facility and/or wishing to maintain CEU's for certification license or to learn how to do the job safely and effectively and/or to meet education needs for promotion.
