Description
This course explains the Chapter 252 regulationa concerning biochemical oxygen demand (BOD). The BOD test is used to determine the relative oxygen requirements of wastewaters, effluents, and even drinking water. The test measures the oxygen utilized during a specified incubation period for th biochemical degradation of organic material. It is also used to determine water and wastewater treatment plant efficiency and effectiveness.
