Description
The purpose of this abbreviated corrosion control treatment for operators course is to provide a shortened version of the original 3-day course to educate drinking water operators in the proper control of corrosion in drinking water distribution systems and treatment facilities through the use of various treatments to the water. Corrosion is a serious problem in drinking water systems destroying millions of dollars of equipment. Effective prevention of corrosion allows drinking water operators the time and resources to focus on other equally important tasks.
