Description
Managing employees is a challenging process of learning how our behavior and the work environment affects others. If you want to improve your management skills, the best way to start is to know yourself and be willing to change. Throughout this short course, we will explore the essential characteristics of a respected leader and will evaluate your own management style.

Basic thru Intermediate
Course Content
Work Smarter! Do your employees clearly understand what is expected from them? Are they treated fairly and consistantly? Is there open and honest communication at your workplace? Do the troops participate in decisions that affect their work? Are there opportunities for them to improve their own skills? These are very important questions to consider as a supervisor. Through small group discussions and entertaining interactive exercises, you will develop a better understanding of what you can do to improve your work group's effectiveness. In addition, you will acquire new people tools with which to more successfully manage the everyday challenges in your unit.
