Description
The purpose of this course is to train the worker in the lifesaving skills of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation for the person that has suffered sudden cardiac arrest or a person that is choking and cannot breathe. Skills will also be taught for the proper operation of an Automated External Defibrillator. The purpose of the Basic First Aid Skills is to provide the rescuer with the skills to give the injured or ill person immediate lifesaving care. Basic First Aid Caregivers can save lives and reduce recovery time and sometimes can be the difference between a lifelong or temporary disability for the victim.
