Description
This basic level course is designed for entry level mechanics. The course will introduce the participants to the fundamentald of industrial pneumatic controls, the fundamental componets such as valves, actuators and accumulators which will be studied in detail. Each participant will design a neumatic system and test it on a pneumatic training simulator.

* Basic physics applied to force transmission * Conversion of pressure from absolute scale to atmospheric scale * Components on a pneumatic schematic * Diagnose and locate problems of pneumatic cylinders * Diagnose and locate problems of directional control valves * Sizing and design of a cylinder to move a load * Selection and design of proper valves and exhaust silencers * Selection and sizing of an air motor * Selection and sizing of an air regulator
Target Audience
This course is target to individuals in the trade for at least two years that have worked on pneumatic systems (some exposure).
