Description
This workshop is designed as an introduction to the regulatory requirements for nutrient controls in the Chesapeake Bay and the techniques available for sampling and the measurement of alkalinity, nitrogen, and phosphorus in wastewater, drinking water, environmental waters, and idustrial water. The course objectives will be met by presenting technical background, incorporating practicle applications of sampling and analytical testing, and through "hands-on" experience using portable field use and laboratory instruments. Students are required to analyze water samples of known and unknown values.
