Description
The challenges faced in treating drinking water are to simultaneously meet compliance requirements while maintaining operational and maintenance conditions throughout the treatment process. Individuals involved with water treatment process control are required not only to manage quality changes in the plant but communicate those changes with other parties involved such as plant management and staff.
The objectives of this course and future classes is to provide a better understanding of the Safe Drinking Water Act regulations, terminology associated with the regulations, water quality parameters, how quality impacts the rules and processes and the individual feed point criteria.
