Description
In today's tough uncertain economy, increasing regulatory requirements and customer awareness, utilities need strong managers to lead their staff toward accomplishing business goals. But managers are more than just leaders, they're problem solvers, cheerleaders, and planners as well. Managers fulfill many roles and have many different responsibilities. Management is the art of making peopl more effective than they would have been without them. This requires managers to plan, organize, direct, and monitor their work. In order to do that effectively, managers need to know where they are going, what tools they need to get there, and what tools they need that they don’t have. This course is designed to prepare managers and future managers to effectively do their job.
