Description
Activated Sludge Process Control is intended primarily for use in training experienced operators for the purpose of career or certification level advancement. It can also be used to provide refresher or introductory training to supervisors or others making process control decisions. Therefore, for the purpose of continuing education, this course assumes that the student has a basic understanding of wastewater treatment operational processes (has already obtained operator certification). However, the material provided here is also comprehensive enough to provide insight to the activated sludge process for others, such as engineering students, equipment suppliers, or regulatory officials, seeking to improve their understanding of the biological treatment of wastewater.
