Description
This course will describe the primary sedimentation process that typically follows preliminary treatment of influent wastewater. Primary sedimentation is the quiet environment of wastewater in settling tanks to remove settleable and floating solids. Settling tanks remove solids from liquid by sedimentation and flotation, and thicken solids for removal and further processing.
