Description
This course is based on the DEP Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Certification Training Module 18. The purpose of the course is to provide information relative to activated sludge processes used for biological nutrient removal. Phosphorus removal using chemicals is discussed. Lastly, the treatment of combined municipal and industrial waste is presented. The course provides the student with classroom training to supplement their field experience. The course will also help them prepare for the certification exam.
