Description
The heart of any activated sludge process is the microlife present in the facility. With the right distribution of the right microorganisms, a wasterwater treatment will produce a crystal clear effluent well within the plant's discharge permit limits.
The purpose of this course is to provide the operator with an understanding of the importance of the microlife. The operator will also learn how to monitor and control the microlife population. The causes, control and cure of filamentous bacteria will also be discussed.
