Description
This course provides training of wastewater treatment plant operators in the removal of nitrogen and phosphorus from wastewater, nutrient removal technology (NRT). This course provides an overview of nitrogen and phosphorus removal from wastewater by various activated sludge processes. This course is an intermediate wastewater operations class. The course is also extended to provide in depth detail and case studies.
