Description
This four-hour course will combine the topics of DEP's general chemistry and mathematics modules. The emphasis will be on the application of mathematical formulas in the wastewater treatment plant as related to the chemistry behind wastewater treatment. Computations involving volume, area, percentages, solution concentration, size and conversions SI and metric systems will be applied. Particular attention will be paid to accuracy of computations and a common sense approach to answering the question; does this answer make sense?
