Description
The first 4 parts of the course will be delivered by Marlene Moore or Advanced Systems, Inc. This course is designed to teach water and wastewater laboratories techniques for reviewing and evaluating laboratory test results. Previous courses focused on preparing a laboratory for setting up analysis and quality control programs, and now we will focus on fundamental concepts of how an analyst should evaluate data. Attendees will walk away with the ability to assess detection and quantitation limits, evaluate quality control, take corrective action (if necessary) and report results to necessary personnel.
In addition to Marlene Moore's presentation, a member of the PADEP Bureau of Laboratories will attend for a one hour, interactive roundtable discussion on data handling techniques.
